Description: Hi, my name is Herman. I would like to share my story with you. For some reason, I was abandoned outside. I was so cold and afraid because I had no idea where I was. I began running up and down the alleys because I just didn't know where to go to be safe. Finally, I found a nice woman's house that was putting food out for some other cats that were just like me. I was so excited to meet kindness, that I began to cry. I kept crying all day and night. I just wanted her attention. I also wanted her to take me inside. I began to jump up to her window ledge and tap on her glass window. I thought that my cries might convince her to let me in. Finally, this nice lady opened the back door. I stepped inside but got kind of scared and ran out. I was just very confused. I kept crying outside and running up and down the alley. Then, out of the blue, a few volunteers from Save The Cats came down to try to rescue me. I spotted them and was a little scared. They eventually convinced me to come closer, and in just a few minutes I was scooped up and brought to saftey. I am so happy to be safe now. I am just exhausted from what happend to me. I am also very lucky that I didn't have to sleep outside one more night in this brutal cold. I have been neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV and have received my vaccinations. I am truly hoping to find a family that will never abandon me again. Please, please, please, open your arms to me. I will be your best friend. Oh, my foster mom has nicknamed me "Cuddle-Bug". I love to cuddle on the couch!
