Shalimar and her siblings were brought inside after their mom had been killed by a neighborhood dog.

She was frightened when she first was brought inside but is now more comfortable with people and enjoys being pet and stroked. She shows her appreciation by purring loudly

Shalimar has tested negative for feline AIDS and Leukemia, and has received her rabies and distemper vaccinations.
