Chance was rescued from Philadelphia as a stray.  We found him on a porch of an abandoned house where occasionally someone would drop off some food.  Chance spent his first two days in foster care hiding under his new bed. He was so scared. But his foster Dad spent hours in front of his cage talking to him and begging him to just give us humans a "chance". We had alot of hope for him because he never hissed or growled at all. It took 2 days for Chance to peek out from under his bed and once his foster Dad put his hand out to pet him, Chance just flopped on his back to have his belly rubbed. In just one short week, he became the sweetest, most affectionate little boy who purrs as soon as he sees you and plays with all of his new toys. He now sleeps on top of his toys along with his favorite stuffed animal. He just needed someone to take a chance on him and he made it worth the effort. Now he loves to be held, gives you kisses for treats and will sleep on your lap. Chance tested negative, has been wormed, up to date on vaccines and neutered. All he needs now is the home and family he always deserved.
