Description:

Peanut was rescued with his sister in Philadelphia.  He is very sweet and very cute!  Peanut has been diagnosed with a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. Cerebellar hypoplasia can be caused from various issues but most likely Peanut's mom contracted panleukopenia while the kittens were in utero.  This causes the cerebellum, which causes motor function, to be damaged.  Therefore, Peanut plays, eats, & uses the litter box like a normal kitten but is wobbly when he walks.  It would be best to place Peanut in an indoor home.  Peanut has been dewormed and received a flea treatment.  His sister, Paisley, was tested negative for feline leukemia/AIDS.  He will also receive his first distemper vaccine prior to adoption.  If you are interested in meeting or adopting Peanut please contact his foster mom at 215-962-3499 or at emeow04@msn.com   If you have any questions about Peanut you can contact the foster home. This kitten is not the property of Save The Cats Inc. This is a courtesy listing. Please do not fill out an STC adoption form.  Thank you!
