Description: Pirate was rescued as a stray in Philadelphia. He is probably one of the friendliest cats you will meet. Pirate just wants someone to love him back. Unfortunately while Pirate was living on the streets he suffered a trauma to his right eye. The eye had to be removed but Pirate does not seem to mind. This little guy is only about 10 months old and will make the perfect companion for any family. He loves to flop over on his back for belly rubs when you start talking to him. Pirate is great with other cats, kids, and likes dogs. He has been neutered, tested negative for feline leukemia/AIDS and is up to date on his vaccines. Please consider giving Pirate a second chance. Unfortunately Pirate was adopted out once in January 2010 but was recently returned due to allergies in the family. Since living with a dog Pirate has learned a favorite trick, he loves for someone to throw one of his mouse toys and he will fetch it and bring it back to you.
