Description:
Tailgate is one very special cat.  She was rescued outside an apartment complex in Bristol.  A kind man used to feed her on the tailgate of his truck which is how she got her name.  She was a surrogate mom to five kittens who were also rescued and already adopted.  She also led the man to a locked boiler room where there were two more kittens from another litter that also wasn't hers.  Tailgate was pregnant when she came in and delivered her kittens in foster care.  She is extremely friendly and loves to be pet and brushed.  If you leave her brush near her bed, she brushes herself.  She was an excellent Mom to her own kittens and allowed her foster parents to handle her kittens from the moment they were born.  She greets her foster family the minute they come into the room.  She gets along well with any other cats.  Tailgate has been spayed.  She is up to date on shots, has had a dose of Revolution and has been dewormed.  Please give this sweet Mom a home.  If you are interested in adopting Tailgate please visit her at the Newtown Petsmart at our adoption center.
