Benson and his four other siblings were found outside in somoene's yard. They were brought to STC with bad respiratory infections and loaded with fleas. Luckily, STC was able to help. All of the kittens were medicated, bathed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FELV/FIV. Benson, however, suffered permament damage to his left eye. He was totally blind in the eye, and it was recoomended that it be removed. This surgery was done a few weeks ago, and Benson is recovering nicely. Benson was also neutered. We are lucky enough that we have a potential home for Benson. We are hoping that everything goes well with that. We'll keep everyone updated. Thanks everyone for your support with Benson's surgery.
