Boostie was rescued when an older woman in Kensington was feeding him on her porch along with some other kitties. Luckily, a volunteer with STC was able to take Boostie, along with 2 other kitties off the porch and to the saftey of foster care. There have been reports of people beating the cats on the street with baseball bats, and time was of the essence with getting the cats out of there. Unfortunately, we didn't get Boostie in time, and he was beaten by the thugs with a baseball bat. The woman that was feeding him reported that Boostie came back bleeding from the head and mouth and seemed lethargic. STC was able to get Bootise to the vet, and are helping him to get healthy. His jaw was injured, and teeth cracked. His ear also suffered a trauma. Despite being beaten, Bootie is fighting to make a full recovery. He is a gentle giant that didn't deserve to be treated as he was. He had a rough 8 and a half years, and has been struggling to brave the elements on the porch in Kensington where we rescued him. Please consider adopting Boostie, Morgan or Madison. They deserve a happy ending. All kitties were spayed/neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV and have had their vaccinations.
