Description: Carrie was found outside when she was only about 5 weeks old. Some dogs were barking at her which allerted the homeowner that she was there. She's been in foster care since.
Carrie is free to roam around the foster room and enjoys sleeping on a shelf near the window. She is quite playful and does like to be held and pet. She will let you know when she's ready to get down and play by swishing her tail. One of her favorite toys is her feather toy that she likes to chase and also carries around with her. She likes the company of other cats and would probably do well in a situation where she has another confident kitty as her companion.
She's been a polite kitty in her foster home and doesn't get into things she's not supposed to. Carrie just needs someone to give her a chance and she'll be a wonderful companion. She doesn't travel well and gets very stressed in any of the pet stores. If you might be interested in meeting her arrangements can be made to see her in her foster home.
Carrie has tested negative for feline AIDS and Leukemia, been spayed and vaccinated.
If you might be interested in adopting her you can fill out an application online by clicking on adoption info on our home page.
