Kimmy was rescued when she was spotted laying out in the sun on the steps of an abandoned house. It was one of the hottest days of the summer, and this poor baby could not move. Apparently, her owners moved away and left her starving outside. Kimmy was so weak when we found her, she could barely lift her head. In addition, he pelvis and backbone were sticking out, which meant that she had been abandoned for quite some time. In addition to being starving and dehydrated, poor Kimmy was loaded with fleas. She stayed on the steps, just waiting for her owners to return. Which of course, they did not. Luckily, an STC volunteer was in the area and was told of the situation. Kimmy was scooped up and taken to the saftey of foster care. She is slowly gaining her strength back, and has been vetted, spayed, tested negative for FELV/FIV and vaccinated. She has also been treated for the fleas, and is resting up to prepare for a brighter future. Please consider giving this adorable girl another chance at having the life she deserves!
